In Swords of Legends Online you're able to participate in leisure activities, including fishing. The activity provides fish which is crucial for cooking useful food through cooking. Fishing requires a rod and bait (earth worm, delicious dried prawns and fivefold delicious bait), as well as a body of water. Sometimes game refers to fishing as "Gold of the Four Seas", even when it does not mean the quest itself by with the same name. This is possibly a translation error.

How to get started[edit | edit source]

To get the first fishing rod, you have to accept the fishing quest (Gold of the Four Seas) in the cultivation (Leisure and Fun).

Dong Ruicong is a sea market trader that you will have to talk as part of the tutorial . He is located on the right side of the center platform, from him you will get a basic, Green bamboo rod and some fish bait Earth dragon (Earth worms).

You can fish in any water around the world, but if you are not fishing on fishing holes, you are only able to get lowest quality of fish.

Fishing gear[edit | edit source]

There is a set of gears specifically for fishing. This gear set grants you higher abilities (more extra products, faster casting time, etc.) They can be crafted from recipes bought with fishing coins. You earn fishing coins if you fish with a special bait. Some of the bait can be bought straight from the merchant (Earth Dragon) There are also daily fishing task and weekly fishing events to earn more fishing coins.

Fishing Holes[edit | edit source]

In every open world map, there are fishing holes you can find shimmering in blue and and golden, where you can get the higher quality fish and items. The gold fishing holes are very rare. The fishing holes are on set timer.

There are two types of fish spots: blue and gold. Blue spots are personal spots while gold spots are public-shared. Blue spots refresh biweekly-weekly while gold spots refresh slightly faster. Different maps have different fish products. Each fish spot has a fixed type of fish production. You can preview the product from a spot by hovering your mouse on it. You can get extra products other than fish if you are lucky. There are super rare gears with special stat combo that only comes from fishing. There are also housing item as extra products.

Blue fishing holes spawn on weekly basis and these are private. Golden (public) fishing holes spawn every 15-90 minutes.

During Gold of the Four Seas event, both Blue and Golden fishing holes are public. Golden fishing holes can be fished from three times before disappearing. There is a event exlusive white (transparent) fishing hole that is private.

Fishing Hole Locations[edit | edit source]

Fishing holes are special spots for fishing where you gain better fish from completing fishing activity on there are two kinds of locations: Randomized and Fixed.

When randomized fishing hole is found, it appears instantly at the another location (public, golden ones).

Note: "Exrtra Dried Prawn Loot" is randomized. This means that extra loot will not always be the same.
