Swords of Legends Online is a third-person game and features a hybrid tab-target and action combat control scheme.

Movement[edit | edit source]

Use the WASD keys to move your character forwards, backwards, left, and right. You can also hold both the left and right mouse buttons to move forwards.

Press G to continuously move forwards (auto-run).

Press space to jump. If you have unlocked the ability, you can press space again while jumping to perform a double jump.

Control Mode[edit | edit source]

You can switch between two different control modes at any time by pressing Ctrl: Classic Mode (with mouse cursor) and Action Mode (no cursor).

When in Classic Mode, hold the left mouse button to change the camera perspective without turning your character. Hold the right mouse button to change both perspective and your character's direction.

When in Action Mode, moving the mouse automatically changes your direction, while the left and right mouse buttons activate the basic skills for your current mastery. This makes it best suited to combat.

Healing masteries cannot ordinarily use Action Mode, however typing "/act" in your chat window can force Action Mode even on healing masteries. However, this is not recommended.

Interacting[edit | edit source]

Use the F key to interact with people and objects in the world, for example, to complete quest objectives with NPCs, activate mechanisms or collect items and other loot.

Shortcuts[edit | edit source]

Shortcut keys can be used to execute character actions, toggle menus, carry out system functions, or use skills from your quickbar. When you start playing, these shortcuts will be set to their defaults.

If you want to customize your key bindings, open up the main menu by clicking on Menu in the bottom right or pressing the Esc key. You will find the Shortcut Settings option there. Here you can change and customize the shortcuts for character movement, quickbar slots, menu options, and various other game functions.
