Alliances (Often referred to as Guilds) are player-driven organisations they are complex systems with multiple factors that player input takes great part in. Almost everything in alliances can be edited, such as ranks, personal notes, names, announcements, permissions and main focus. . Alliances grant great benefits for everyone involved, and it is heavily recommended to join one, as they grant major benefits.

Alliance have weekly events, quests, achievements and very in-depth ranking system, that grant a lot to do for anyone wishing to focus on social aspect of the game.

After creation, alliances can hold up to 50 members. This can be increased up to 200. Players have criticised the maximum being too low, which Gameforge has replied that it has been made this specific number to avoid mega-alliances.

Creating an alliance requires player to be Beginner 15, to join an alliance, player must be Beginner 10.

Basics[edit | edit source]

Creation[edit | edit source]

Establish alliance interface
Establish alliance interface

You can create an alliance by talking to Zeng An - Alliance Steward in Cloudrise (Coordinates: 26, -69).

Creating guild requires player to be level Beginner 15, pay 10 gold and you are not allowed to currently be in another alliance or just left one. No other players are required, but after 15 days, if alliance has not acquired at least 10 players, the alliance will automatically disband.

When creating an alliance, you must choose from three, multiple-choice, options to describe your alliance:

  • Player vs Environment
  • Player vs Player
  • Casual

You can choose more than just one, but you have to choose at least one. This can not be changed later on.

Once you have typed in desired alliance name and chosen the main targets of the alliance, you can click "Found" and alliance will be instantly created.

Disbanding[edit | edit source]

There are currently two way of disbanding an alliance

  1. If the player-count in the alliance is less than 10 for 15 days, alliance will disband. There will be visible timer on alliance interface to indicate the coming alliance auto-disband. Alliance can continue functioning as normal during this time. The timer can be interrupted by gaining 10 members before timer runs out, and the timer appears once again your player-count drops below 10.
  2. When alliance has more than 10 players, alliance leader can disband the guild by clicking "Disband" button on alliance interface.

If the guild is struggling to keep more than 10 members or it is not desired to have that many players inside the alliance, current alliance members can get their own alternative characters into the alliance. This can guarantee that alliance can not be disbanded even if multiple players choose to leave at the same time.

Any items stored inside Alliance stash will be lost if the alliance gets disbanded, no matter which way. These items will be permanently lost and there is no way to get them back.

  • WARNING: Do not create an Alliance unless you are 100% sure that you want to do so. There is currently no easy and fast way of disbanding it outside of methods listed above, if you are the only member. It is recommended to find at least few interested individuals who would like to join you in alliance before actually creating one. You'll have to transfer the ownership to someone else which will take 72 hours or wait for 14 days until the alliance auto-disbands. Support cannot disband an alliance.
  • Disband timer

Joining an existing alliance[edit | edit source]

Recommended alliance interface
Recommended alliance interface

To join an existing alliance, you must be at least level Beginner 10. There are two methods of joining an alliance:

  1. Join through Alliance advertisement interface. This will automatically open instead of alliance interface, when the player is not in alliance (Default keybind "H"). Interface is called "Recommended Alliance" where you can browse alliances and choose the one that fits you the most. You can filter alliances based on their main-focus by clicking the tick-boxes available at the top of of the screen. You can also search by the name from choosing the option from top-left corner. If the player does not care which alliance to join, they can click "Apply to all", and the fastest alliance to accept the application will get the new member.
  2. A person with inviting permission can invite you straight into the alliance by being near you in the game. They will be given an ability to "Invite to alliance" when right-clicking the person they are nearby.

When leaving the guild, character will be given three days cool-down before being able to join an alliance again.

Alliance Stash[edit | edit source]

Alliance Stash is shared storage, which every alliance member is able to access by talking to Zeng An - Alliance Steward at Cloudrise. However to store or remove items from the alliance stash, a member needs a permission tied to their rank that allows them to do so. The permission are separate between storing and removing and by default only Leader and Co-leader can do both.

Every alliance begins with one stash, and it can be increased through alliance upgrades up to six.

It is recommended to allow removing only by trusted individuals, because for griefing purposes, anyone with the rank could take anything out without permission. Storing permission can also be abused by filling the stashes, so no more items can be added unless going through a
